audiometa.io is a new project — we're still seeding the catalog and enriching records. Expect gaps, growth, and rapid change.

audiometa.io

Mission

We are building a large, accurate database of music industry data — and serving it to everyone through an open API.

What we are building

audiometa.io aggregates track, artist, and album records with social media signals, player and platform context, and the wider metadata that surrounds modern music. The goal is one durable catalog — accurate enough for research, rich enough for products, and open enough for developers to build on.

  • Catalog entities

Tracks, artists, and albums — the core records that power search, lookup, and enrichment across the music industry.

  • Social & reach

Social media presence, follower signals, and other public reach metrics that show how artists and releases move online.

  • Players & platforms

Playback and platform context — so catalog data stays grounded in how music is actually streamed and discovered.

  • Industry metadata

Credits, identifiers, genres, audio features, playcounts, and the surrounding metadata that makes music data useful.

Keep aggregating. Keep serving.

Our mission is simple: keep building and aggregating as much useful music data as possible, then make it available over an open API. Coverage and accuracy compound over time — every enrichment pass, identifier match, and new source makes the catalog more valuable for the next query.

We are always shipping new features and mapping out new datapoints. If a signal helps developers or researchers understand artists, tracks, or albums better, we want it in the catalog and reachable through the API.

Build with the catalog

Explore the public catalog, create an account, and query the same data over the audiometa.io Web API.
