Crystal Kay is a Japanese singer and songwriter born in Yokohama in 1986. She debuted at age thirteen with the single "Eternity" and quickly became known for her bilingual English-Japanese vocals and smooth R&B-inflected J-pop sound. Over the following two decades she released more than a dozen studio albums, including the platinum-certified "Almost Seventeen" and the chart-topping "4 Real," collaborating with producers and artists across J-pop, R&B, and hip-hop. Her work has been featured in numerous television dramas, anime soundtracks, and national advertising campaigns.
