Bio
Oleta Adams is an American singer-songwriter and pianist whose warm, soulful voice has defined her career since the late 1980s. Born in Seattle in 1954, she first gained widespread recognition after being discovered by Roland Orzabal of Tears for Fears, leading to her featured vocals on the hit single "Woman in Chains" and her subsequent solo breakthrough with the album Circle of One (1990).
