Bio
Rodrigo Amarante is a Brazilian singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and composer born in Rio de Janeiro in 1976. He first gained prominence as a founding member of the indie-rock band Los Hermanos and later as a guitarist and vocalist with the experimental collective Orquestra Imperial. As a solo artist he is known for blending MPB, bossa nova, and indie sensibilities, releasing the acclaimed album "Cavalo" in 2013. His work also extends to film and television scoring, including the theme for the Netflix series "Narcos."
