Bio
Blur are an English rock band formed in London in 1988, consisting of Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon, Alex James and Dave Rowntree. They rose to prominence in the 1990s as one of the key acts of the Britpop movement, achieving mainstream success with albums such as Parklife and The Great Escape. The band is known for their eclectic style, blending alternative rock, Britpop and elements of Madchester, and for their rivalry with fellow Britpop band Oasis. Their later work, including the self-titled album Blur and 13, saw them experiment with lo-fi and art rock influences.
