Bio

Piero Piccioni was an Italian composer, pianist, and lawyer best known for his extensive work in film music. Over a career spanning several decades, he scored more than 300 films, collaborating with directors such as Francesco Rosi, Michelangelo Antonioni, and Alberto Lattuada. His style blended jazz, classical, and pop influences, often featuring lush orchestral arrangements and memorable themes. Piccioni's contributions helped define the sound of Italian cinema from the 1950s through the 1970s.
