Sérgio Assad is a Brazilian guitarist, composer, and arranger born in 1952. He is best known for his work in classical guitar, often collaborating with his brother Odair Assad as the Assad Duo. His compositions frequently incorporate Brazilian musical traditions and have been performed by leading guitarists worldwide.
