Tom Tykwer is a German film director, screenwriter, and composer born in Wuppertal in 1965. He is best known for directing the 1998 thriller Run Lola Run, which brought him international recognition for its innovative narrative style and energetic soundtrack. Tykwer has also composed music for several of his films, blending electronic and orchestral elements to complement his distinctive visual storytelling.
