Plan B is the stage name of Ben Drew, a British rapper, singer, songwriter, and actor born in Forest Gate, London, in 1983. He first gained attention in the mid-2000s with his raw, narrative-driven hip-hop, releasing the critically acclaimed debut album Who Needs Actions When You Got Words in 2006. Drew achieved mainstream success with his 2010 album The Defamation of Strickland Banks, which showcased a soul-influenced sound and produced hit singles such as "Stay Too Long" and "She Said." Beyond music, he has appeared in films including Adulthood and its sequel, further establishing his presence in British popular culture.
