Bio
Marcelo Falcão (born May 31, 1973, in Rio de Janeiro) is a Brazilian singer-songwriter best known as the lead vocalist of the influential Rio-based band O Rappa. With his distinctive voice and socially conscious lyrics, he helped shape the band’s fusion of rock, reggae, rap, and Brazilian rhythms from the mid-1990s onward. After O Rappa went on hiatus, Falcão pursued a solo career, releasing albums that continue to explore themes of identity, inequality, and everyday life in Brazil while maintaining the eclectic sound that first brought him to prominence.
