Amber Coffman is an American singer and songwriter born in Austin, Texas, on June 15, 1984. She first gained prominence as a vocalist for the indie-electronic band Dirty Projectors, contributing to albums such as Bitte Orca and Swing Lo Magellan. Coffman has also collaborated with artists including Major Lazer and The Roots, and later pursued solo work in electronic and dub-influenced styles.
