Bio
MJG is an American rapper from Memphis, Tennessee, best known as one half of the pioneering Southern hip-hop duo 8Ball & MJG. Emerging in the early 1990s, the pair helped define the sound of Memphis rap with their laid-back flows, vivid storytelling, and heavy, funk-infused beats. Their debut album, Comin’ Out Hard (1993), is widely regarded as a classic of the genre and established them as key figures in the Southern rap movement.
