Bio
Ibibio Sound Machine is a London-based collective that fuses West African highlife and funk with electronic dance music. Fronted by Nigerian-born singer Eno Williams, the group layers her English and Ibibio vocals over driving bass, brass, and synthesizers. Their sound draws on Williams’s heritage and the city’s club culture, resulting in an energetic, dance-floor-oriented style.
