Bio

The Turtles were an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1965. Originally known as the Crossfires, they achieved mainstream success with a string of hit singles in the mid-to-late 1960s, most notably the chart-topping "Happy Together." Their sound blended pop sensibilities with folk-rock and psychedelic influences, and they were known for their harmonious vocal arrangements and catchy songwriting.
