Tauren Wells is an American contemporary Christian music singer, songwriter, and worship leader born on April 7, 1986, in Battle Creek, Michigan. He first gained prominence as the lead vocalist of the Christian band Royal Tailor before launching a solo career in 2017 with the album Hills and Valleys, which produced the hit single "Hills and Valleys." Wells is known for blending pop, R&B, and worship elements in his music, and his work has earned him multiple Grammy and Dove Award nominations. He continues to release music and lead worship events across the United States.
