Bio
Wanz is an American rapper and vocalist from Seattle, Washington. He first gained widespread recognition in 2012 after providing the featured vocals on Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ global hit “Thrift Shop,” which topped the Billboard Hot 100. His deep, soulful voice and hip-hop delivery helped define the track’s sound. Wanz has released solo material blending g-funk, west coast hip hop, and contemporary R&B, and has collaborated with artists including Macklemore, Ryan Lewis, and Allen Stone. He continues to perform and record independently.
