Bio
Julee Cruise was an American singer and actress best known for her ethereal, dream-pop collaborations with composer Angelo Badalamenti and director David Lynch. Her signature voice defined the soundtracks of Lynch’s projects, most notably the theme “Falling” from the television series Twin Peaks and the soundtrack for the 1990 feature film Wild at Heart. Cruise’s debut album, Floating into the Night (1989), and its follow-up, The Voice of Love (1993), established her as a distinctive figure in atmospheric, cinematic pop. She continued to perform and record until her death in 2022.
