Bio
Luke Evans is a Welsh actor and singer born on 15 April 1979 in Pontypool, Wales. He trained at the London Studio Centre and began his career in stage musicals, appearing in productions such as Rent and Miss Saigon before transitioning to film. Evans gained international recognition for his roles in action and fantasy films, including Owen Shaw in the Fast & Furious franchise and Bard the Bowman in The Hobbit trilogy. He has also performed on screen in musical adaptations such as Beauty and the Beast (2017) and Aladdin (2019). In addition to acting, Evans maintains a parallel music career, releasing pop and musical-theatre recordings that showcase his baritone voice.
