Kidd Kidd (born Levell Webb on November 26, 1983) is an American rapper from New Orleans, Louisiana. He first gained recognition in the mid-2000s as a member of the hip-hop collective Squad Up, releasing several mixtapes that showcased his gritty Southern style. After relocating to New York, he signed with G-Unit Records in 2011, becoming one of the label’s few Southern artists. His association with 50 Cent helped expand his reach, leading to guest appearances on G-Unit projects and the 2014 EP “F*ck The World.” Kidd Kidd is known for his vivid storytelling rooted in New Orleans street life and his distinctive, laid-back delivery. Though he has maintained a lower mainstream profile in recent years, he continues to release independent material and remains active in the hip-hop underground.
