Bio
The Jess Gillam Ensemble is a British chamber group led by saxophonist Jess Gillam. Formed to explore both classical repertoire and contemporary commissions, the ensemble performs a wide range of music from Baroque transcriptions to new works written especially for the group. Based in the United Kingdom, the ensemble appears regularly at major UK venues and festivals, and has released recordings on the Signum Classics label.
