Bio

Tainy is a Puerto Rican record producer, songwriter, and artist from San Juan. He rose to prominence in the mid-2000s as a key architect of modern reggaeton, producing hits for Daddy Yankee, Wisin & Yandel, and later Bad Bunny, J Balvin, and Rosalía. His sound blends reggaeton, trap latino, and electronic textures; he co-founded the label Neon16 and released the collaborative album DATA in 2023. Tainy has earned multiple Latin Grammy Awards and is widely credited with shaping the global Latin urban sound of the 2010s and 2020s.
