Loona is a Dutch vocalist born Marie-José van der Kolk on September 16, 1974, in IJmuiden, Netherlands. She first gained international recognition in the late 1990s with her Eurodance single "Bailando," which became a major hit across Europe. Her music blends dance-pop and Latin influences, and she has released several albums and singles throughout her career.
