Lumidee is an American singer and songwriter from East Harlem, New York. She rose to prominence in 2003 with her debut single "Never Leave You (Uh Oooh, Uh Oooh)", which became a major hit in the United States and several European countries. Her debut album, "Almost Famous," was released the same year and showcased her blend of R&B, hip hop, and reggae influences. Lumidee has continued to release music independently and collaborate with various artists throughout her career.
