ChocQuibTown is a Colombian musical group formed in Quibdó, Chocó in 2000. The trio blends traditional Afro-Colombian rhythms with contemporary genres such as hip-hop, salsa, and pop, creating a distinctive sound known as "salsa choke." Their music often addresses social issues and celebrates the cultural heritage of Colombia's Pacific coast. Since their debut, ChocQuibTown has gained recognition both nationally and internationally, releasing multiple albums and collaborating with prominent Latin artists.
