Crystal Waters is an American singer and songwriter born in Philadelphia in 1961. She rose to prominence in the early 1990s with the house music hit "Gypsy Woman (She's Homeless)," which reached the top of the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart and became a worldwide success. Waters continued releasing dance-oriented singles throughout the decade, including "100% Pure Love," which also topped the dance charts.
