Manikka Vinayagam (1943–2021) was a veteran Tamil playback and folk singer from Tamil Nadu, India. He contributed to numerous Kollywood film soundtracks and devotional albums, performing in the distinctive Tamil folk and dance styles that became staples of South Indian cinema. Active for several decades, Vinayagam recorded for leading composers and appeared on both film and non-film releases. His work helped preserve and popularize traditional Tamil musical forms within the modern playback-singing format.
