Vivian Jackson (14 August 1946 – 12 January 2010), better known as Yabby You or Yabby U, was a Jamaican reggae and dub artist and producer. Emerging in the early 1970s, he became known for his distinctive spiritual and Rastafarian-themed lyrics, often drawing on Christian imagery, which set him apart within the roots reggae movement. Jackson began his career as a producer, releasing his debut album "Conquering Lion" in 1975 under the Yabby You name. He worked with many prominent Jamaican musicians and vocalists, producing influential dub albums and singles that helped define the sound of roots reggae and dub during the 1970s and 1980s.
