Bio
Submotion Orchestra is a British collective formed in Leeds in 2009. The group blends trip hop with jazz, soul, and electronic textures, built around the vocals of Ruby Wood and a core rhythm section. Since their debut album "Finest Hour" (2011), they have released several full-length records and EPs on labels such as Counter Records and SMO Recordings. Their live shows feature a seven-piece lineup that incorporates live horns and strings, and they have toured extensively across Europe and beyond.
