Carlos Enrique Ortiz Rivera, known professionally as Chris Jeday or Chris Jedi, is a Puerto Rican record producer, songwriter and artist from Carolina. He rose to prominence in the Latin urban scene as a producer for artists including Ozuna, Bad Bunny, J Balvin and Anuel AA. Jeday co-wrote and produced the global hit “Despacito” with Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee, and has released his own singles such as “Ahora Dice” and “Bipolar.” His sound blends reggaeton, Latin trap and urbano with polished, radio-friendly production. He founded his own label, Chris Jeday Music, and continues to work across Latin and mainstream pop collaborations.
