Bio

Bruno & Marrone is a Brazilian sertanejo duo formed in Goiânia in 1985. The pair consists of Bruno (José Bruno Mendonça Sobrinho) and Marrone (Luiz Flávio Carvalho Silva), who began performing together in local bars and rodeos before gaining national recognition. The duo is known for blending traditional sertanejo with more contemporary university-style sertanejo, achieving commercial success throughout the 1990s and 2000s. Their repertoire includes romantic ballads and upbeat dance tracks that have become staples of Brazilian country music.
