Junior Delgado (born Errol Antonio Delgado, 25 August 1958 – 10 December 2005) was a Jamaican reggae singer whose career spanned the 1970s through the early 2000s. Emerging from the Kingston sound-system scene, he first recorded under the name Junior Hibbert before adopting his better-known stage name. He became known for his distinctive, soulful voice and socially conscious lyrics, releasing key singles such as "Loving You" and "Tichion" on labels like DEB and Greensleeves. Delgado also worked with producers including Lee "Scratch" Perry and Sly & Robbie, and his work bridged roots reggae, lovers rock, and dub styles. In addition to his solo recordings, he collaborated with artists such as Dennis Brown and Freddie McGregor, and his catalog remains influential in reggae and dub circles.
