Bio
Tim Bergling, known professionally as Avicii, was a Swedish DJ, remixer, and record producer. Born on 8 September 1989 in Stockholm, he rose to international fame in the late 2000s with electronic dance music singles such as "Levels" and "Wake Me Up." His work helped popularize progressive house and folktronica, and he collaborated with artists across pop, country, and EDM. Bergling retired from touring in 2016 after health struggles but continued producing music until his death on 20 April 2018. Posthumous releases and the 2017 documentary "Avicii: True Stories" cemented his legacy as one of the most influential electronic artists of his generation.
