Bridgit Mendler is an American actress and singer-songwriter born in Washington, D.C. in 1992. She rose to prominence with her role as Teddy Duncan on the Disney Channel series "Good Luck Charlie" and later starred in the Disney Channel Original Movie "Lemonade Mouth." Mendler transitioned into music with her debut album "Hello My Name Is..." in 2012, which featured the hit single "Ready or Not." Her style blends pop, indie, and folk influences, and she has continued to release music while pursuing acting and academic interests.
