Frankie Valli is an American singer and actor best known as the frontman of The Four Seasons. Born Francesco Stephen Castelluccio in Newark, New Jersey, in 1934, he rose to fame in the early 1960s with the group’s string of hits including “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” and “Walk Like a Man.” His distinctive falsetto became a signature sound of the era. Beyond his work with The Four Seasons, Valli enjoyed a successful solo career, highlighted by the 1974 chart-topper “My Eyes Adore You.” He has remained active in music and stage performance for over six decades, and his life story was later dramatized in the Tony Award-winning musical Jersey Boys.
