Bio

Dub Pistols are a British electronic music group formed in London in 1996. Their sound fuses big beat, dub, jungle and ragga, drawing on the city’s club culture and reggae heritage. The project is led by Barry Ashworth and has featured a rotating cast of vocalists and musicians over the years. Since their debut album ‘Point Blank’ (1998), the group has released a steady stream of studio albums and singles, maintaining a presence on the UK dance scene. Their music often pairs heavy basslines and breakbeats with socially conscious or party-oriented lyrics, and they continue to perform live and produce new material from their London base.
