Bio

Brian Burton, known professionally as Danger Mouse, is an American record producer, musician, and songwriter born in White Plains, New York. He first gained widespread recognition for his 2004 mash-up project The Grey Album, which combined vocals from Jay-Z's The Black Album with instrumentals from The Beatles' The White Album. Burton has produced and collaborated with numerous artists across genres, including Gorillaz, The Black Keys, and CeeLo Green. As one half of Gnarls Barkley with CeeLo Green, he achieved international success with the hit single "Crazy." He has also worked extensively with Jack White and released albums under the name Broken Bells with James Mercer of The Shins.
