Bio
SYML is the solo project of American musician Brian Fennell, born January 16, 1983, in Issaquah, Washington. Fennell previously performed as one half of the indie-folk duo Barcelona before launching SYML in 2016. The project is known for its atmospheric indie-folk sound and introspective songwriting, with Fennell handling most instrumentation and production himself. SYML has released several EPs and albums, including the self-titled debut in 2019, establishing Fennell as a distinctive voice in contemporary indie music.
