Bio

David Holmes is a Northern Irish musician, DJ, and film score composer born in Belfast in 1969. He first gained recognition in the 1990s with his influential big-beat and trip-hop productions, releasing albums such as This Film's Crap Let's Slash the Seats and Let's Get Killed. Holmes has composed original scores for numerous films, including Steven Soderbergh's Out of Sight, Ocean's Eleven, and Haywire. His work blends electronic, orchestral, and rock elements, and he continues to release solo albums and collaborate with artists across genres.
