Tony Matterhorn is a Jamaican dancehall deejay, singer, and producer born in Kingston in 1972. He rose to prominence in the late 1990s and early 2000s with energetic performances and hits such as "Dutty Wine," which helped popularize the dance style of the same name across the Caribbean and beyond. Active in the dancehall, ragga, reggae, riddim, and soca scenes, Matterhorn is known for his rapid-fire toasting style and ability to ride popular riddims. He has released numerous singles and mixtapes and remains a respected figure in Jamaican sound-system culture.
