Bio
Velvet Revolver was an American hard-rock supergroup formed in 2002 by former Guns N’ Roses members Slash, Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum, alongside vocalist Scott Weiland and guitarist Dave Kushner. The band released two studio albums—Contraband (2004) and Libertad (2007)—and won a Grammy for Best Hard Rock Performance for the single “Slither.” Velvet Revolver disbanded in 2008 following Weiland’s departure.
