Yael Naïm is a French-Israeli singer-songwriter born in Paris in 1978. She began her career as a backing vocalist before releasing her self-titled debut album in 2007, which featured the international hit single "New Soul." Her music blends folk, pop, and indie elements, often sung in English, French, and Hebrew. Naïm has released several albums, including "She Was a Boy" (2010) and "Older" (2015), and continues to perform and record internationally. She is known for her distinctive voice and introspective songwriting.
