The Kills are a British-American garage rock duo formed in 2000 by vocalist Alison Mosshart and guitarist Jamie Hince. The pair met in London and quickly established a raw, blues-infused sound built around Mosshart’s distinctive vocals and Hince’s minimalist guitar work. Their early releases on Domino Records, including the albums "Keep on Your Mean Side" (2003) and "No Wow" (2005), earned them a reputation for stripped-down, energetic performances. Over the following decade the duo expanded their sonic palette while retaining their core intensity, releasing acclaimed records such as "Midnight Boom" (2008), "Blood Pressures" (2011), and "Ash & Ice" (2016). The Kills have toured extensively and collaborated with artists ranging from the Foo Fighters to Beck, maintaining a consistent presence in the indie and alternative rock scenes.
