Eagles of Death Metal is an American rock band formed in Palm Desert, California in 1998. The group is known for its garage rock and stoner rock sound, blending raw energy with desert rock influences. The band gained wider recognition through its association with Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme, who co-founded the project with Jesse Hughes.
