Lauren Jauregui is an American singer and songwriter born on June 27, 1996, in Miami, Florida. She first gained recognition as a member of the girl group Fifth Harmony, which rose to prominence after finishing third on the second season of The X Factor USA in 2012. After the group went on hiatus, Jauregui launched a solo career, releasing singles such as "Expectations" and "More Than That." Her work spans pop, R&B, and alternative influences, and she is known for her distinctive vocal style and socially conscious songwriting.
