Bio

Fleetwood Mac formed in London in 1967 as a British blues band led by guitarist Peter Green. After early success with hits like “Albatross,” the group evolved through several line-ups. The 1975 addition of Americans Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks produced the multi-platinum album Rumours (1977), which remains one of the best-selling records ever. Their sound blends blues-rooted rock with pop melodies, soft-rock harmonies, and yacht-rock polish. Core members Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Christine McVie, Buckingham and Nicks have released more than a dozen studio albums and continue to tour. The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.
