The group is known for blending aggressive breakdowns with melodic guitar work and technical riffs, drawing from deathcore, djent, and post-hardcore influences. Their music often explores themes of faith, personal struggle, and resilience. Since their debut album Thrill Seeker in 2005, August Burns Red has released multiple studio albums and earned a reputation for high-energy live performances.
