FKA twigs is a British singer, songwriter, and dancer known for her distinctive blend of alternative R&B and art pop. Born Tahliah Barnett in Cheltenham, England, in 1988, she first gained attention as a backup dancer before emerging as a solo artist with her 2012 EP1. Her music is characterized by intricate production, ethereal vocals, and experimental electronic textures.
