Marta Sánchez is a Spanish singer and songwriter best known for her work in the Latin pop genre. Born in Madrid in 1966, she first gained prominence in the late 1980s as the lead vocalist of the group Olé Olé before launching a successful solo career in the 1990s. Her debut solo album, *Mujer*, established her as a major artist across Spanish-speaking markets, and subsequent releases such as *Azabache* and *Desconocida* produced several hit singles that remain staples of Spanish-language pop radio.
