IU (Lee Ji-eun) is a South Korean singer-songwriter and actress who debuted in 2008 under LOEN Entertainment. She rose to prominence with her 2010 single "Good Day" and has since become one of the most successful solo artists in the Korean music industry, known for her versatile vocal range and emotive ballads.
