Kany García is a Puerto Rican singer-songwriter from Santurce, San Juan. She rose to prominence after winning the 2005 Objetivo Fama competition and released her debut album Cualquier Día in 2008, which earned a Latin Grammy for Best New Artist. Known for introspective pop ballads and socially conscious lyrics, she has collaborated with artists such as Alejandro Sanz and Jesse & Joy. García has released six studio albums and received multiple Latin Grammy nominations for her work in Latin pop and singer-songwriter genres.
